Prevention is better than cure. COVID-19 is one of the viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases. The virus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet). Common signs of infection include respiratory symptoms, fever, and cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. These viruses can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs. Nowadays, the spreading of COVID-19 is increasing in most of the countries.

MYTCL planned the health talk program on 6th March, 2020 at the Mine Town Hall for the staff and family member to prevent the COVID-19. Commander of the Division Red-Cross; U Tint Wai offered a free health talk about the COVID-19 to the staff and family member. He explained exactly how its spread forms. He also said the best way of prevention and treatment like that avoid close contact with people who are sick, avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, stay home when you are sick and cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. He performed the washing hands and wearing mask. It assists for the staff to have a good health.
