Gondaw Village is getting ready to turn on all the lights for the first time in the history of the village thanks to the CSR Projects of 2015 for the surrounding communities and villagers.
On October 3rd, 2015 the electricity project including 45 electric poles and 0.4 KVA electric wire, running approximately 32,000 feet began installation into the community village using a locally created company named Moe Myint Kyal Sin Company. Tendering against competitive companies in the Sagaing Region, not only did the local company win the bid, but it also was able to create a sustainable partnership with Myanmar Yang Tse Copper Limited. The installation was quickly and efficiently completed early in November and detailed inspections are underway in preparations for the village to turn on the power. MYTCL is proud to sponser such CSR works, while at the same time developing small to medium enterprises within the very communities where the projects are taking place.
