The Myayake Village Administrator U Kan Kyi, requested in 2015 for MYTCL to help in the financial support for the construction of a clinic aimed to generate health care for villagers, particularly for the old and for the young.
Myanmar Yang Tse called for an open and public tender for building a clinic for Myayake, and the award was provided to Great Tower Company to complete this construction under the guidance of the village and of the MYTCL engineers. Other CSR/CSD activities for this distant village that has little to no impact from the minng activities include the visit of the mobile medical team for weekly free medical care. The Clinic budget totalled $8,154.75 USD and was completed on the 27th of December 2015. There are approximately 1,256 persons living in the village of Myayake that is self-sufficient and has the majority of its inhabitants working in occupations outside of the MYTCL copper mine. Only 46 persons are employed at Yang Tse, composing 3.66% of the village's total population working within the mining organisation.
