first aid 1018MYTCL has opened its 17th batch of first aid training at the Myayadana Hall of Mine Town school on the 15th October, 2018. This is one of the community programs under the guidance of the Myanmar Red Cross Society that MYTCL invites into the organization on an annual basis.

This training is one of the most important of all training provided to MYTCL employees, in order to give them the ability to perform emergency first-aid in their workplace, as well within their communities. The HSE Department Superintendent, U Tun Myint presented a speech in opening ceremony.
The training was supported by attending a course, and extended knowledge to help adults and children during many emergency situations. Attendance to the regular refresher course, or re-certification, is often necessary because of the Red Cross' updated clinical knowledge. 60 employees represented all departments in MYTCL attended the first aid training for 5 days. The Trainers are from Yimarbin/Kani Red Cross Society under the supervision of the Yimarbin District Red Cross Committee. Trainers explained about the roles and responsibilities of the Emergency First Aider, assessing an incident, recognizing signs and symptoms of injury and illness, and assisting a casualty who is suffering from injury and illness which may occur in the work environments of MYTCL.
Attendees are encouraged to share their knowledge, and keep our communities and families safe in urgent times of need.
